.DISCUSSION...
Cooler temperatures expected to continue as a front moves over
the fire site, from the north. A slight chance for showers are
possible during the late morning hours, but will become more
likely after 1600 AKDT as the front passes over. Precipitation
amounts will be around 0.05" to 0.15" through late tonight. Some
of the showers may transition to snow during the overnight hours.
The rain/snow showers will last through the early afternoon on
Monday. Cooler temperatures will continue with the passage of the
cold front keeping high temperatures in the upper 40s. Minimum RH
values will be around 50 percent today with the rain chances, but
will decrease to around 35 percent on Monday. Winds will be
predominantly from the southwest through tonight then shift
north/northwest by midday Monday and strengthen up to 20 mph, with
gusts up to 30 mph, at times through Monday afternoon.
