...WIND ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM AKDT THURSDAY...

* WHAT...South winds 25 to 40 mph with gusts up to around 60 mph.

* WHERE...Eastern Alaska Range North of Trims Camp and Eastern
  Alaska Range South of Trims Camp.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM AKDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The short-lived relative lull in the ongoing
  gap wind event will end by this evening. The Wind Advisory now
  continues until 7 PM Thursday as frequent wind gusts out of the
  south are expected to pick back up to within advisory criteria
  this evening & conditions now look to remain conducive to these
  frequent enhanced gusts into Thursday evening as the pressure
  gradient over that area increases, once again.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
