With widespread colder weather across the Interior, another front will bring light snow to portions of the area Wednesday night through Thursday. Generally, around 1 to 3 inches are expected around the Central & eastern Interior, generally from around the Fairbanks Metro Area & eastward, although some isolated locations could receive some locally marginally higher amounts, like toward the Chena Recreational Area, Chena Hot Springs, the White Mountains, & Fortymile Country. Take extra precautions when driving around the Fairbanks area during the Thursday morning commute as roads may be snow-covered & slippery. Drier weather returns to the region by Friday. $$
