...Rain and Gusty Wind This Week...

Rain is expected everyday through the week with periods of heavy
rain likely at times, especially along the southern slopes of the
Eastern Alaska Range on Tuesday and Wednesday. From Monday
afternoon through Thursday morning, rainfall totals will be around
1 to 3 inches with locally higher amounts in the summits above
5000 feet. South winds will also be gusty, up to 45 mph which can
result in localized tree damage. However, wind gusts of 65 to 75
mph will reside just to the north.
