.DISCUSSION...Winds in Sumner Strait are expected to continue to
blow from the east with speeds increasing. Speeds are expected to
increase closer to fresh to strong breezes. In the Wrangell
Narrows, winds still look to be out of the east but should be
sheltered more due to Mitkof Island. Wind speeds are expected to
be around gentle to moderate breezes for the Narrows. Some
passing showers are possible and could bring rain and or snow
depending on how heavy the precipitation associated with the
shower is.
