Dense fog has developed over the inner channel waters of the
central and southern panhandle, particularly in the area of the
Stikine Delta between Petersburg and Wrangell, with visibilities
of 1/4 sm or less ongoing. Patchy dense fog is expected to range
from Cape Fanshaw southward to Etolin Island, throughout Misty
Fjords, and southwestward to the vicinity of Level Island and
near Coffman Cove within Clarence Strait through the morning
hours. Conditions are expected to improve gradually by late
morning, but patchy fog may linger into the afternoon hours.
