...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM TO 6 PM AKST WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Southeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 60 mph
  expected.

* WHERE...Prince of Wales Island.

* WHEN...From 6 AM to 6 PM AKST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...High winds will blow around unsecured objects and
  may damage property and cause power outages. Travel will be
  difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A strong front will push into the southern
  panhandle late Tuesday night through early Wednesday evening.
  Confidence has increased in frequent strong wind gusts to around
  60 mph. These strong gusts are the most likely between 9 am to
  3 pm Wednesday over western Prince of Wales Island, especially
  near Hydaburg.

People are urged to secure vessels and loose objects that could
be blown around or damaged by the wind.

* WHEN...From late tonight through Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS...High winds could blow around unsecured objects,
  damage property and cause power outages. Travel could be
  difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A strong front will push into the southern
  half of the panhandle late Tuesday evening into Wednesday
  evening. The strongest wind gusts to around 60 mph are possible
  between 9 am to 3 pm Wednesday.
