  Northwestern Admiralty Island in Alaska...

* Until 400 PM AKDT.

* At 326 PM AKDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Douglas Boat
  Harbor, moving northwest at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Satellite indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Downtown Juneau, Douglas, Montana Creek, Outer Point, Auke Bay,
  Jordan Creek, Thane, Salmon Creek, Eaglecrest, Mendenhall Glacier
  Visitor Center, and Lemon Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
