...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 400 PM AKDT
FOR WEST CENTRAL CITY AND BOROUGH OF JUNEAU AND NORTHERN ADMIRALTY
ISLAND...

At 352 PM AKDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Saint
Therese, or 12 miles northwest of Downtown Juneau, moving northwest
at 30 mph. The thunderstorm has moved out of downtown Juneau.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Satellite imagery indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Montana Creek, Auke Bay, Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center, Jordan
Creek, and Lemon Creek.
