450 WWAK47 PAJK 191342 WSWAJK URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Juneau AK 442 AM AKST Wed Nov 19 2025 ...SNOW RETURNS TO NORTHERN HIGHWAYS WEDNESDAY... .A strong low will move along the Panhandle coast carrying plentiful moisture with it. Anticipate snow to begin early Wednesday morning, with the heaviest snowfall moving through the northern Panhandle into Wednesday afternoon, bringing heavy and wet snow to the upper elevations of the Haines Highway and the Klondike Highway. Most concern for snowfall continue to be west of Haines towards Haines Customs and north of Skagway towards White Pass. Slightly pullback on area of snow to primarily be near Haines Customs. Dense, wet snow will make up a majority of the accumulating snow, with latest guidance further lowering snow ratios. Snow will continue to impact Klondike Highway Thursday.
