125 WWAK47 PAJK 242351 WSWAJK URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Juneau AK 251 PM AKST Mon Nov 24 2025 ...ACCUMULATING SNOW FOR HAINES THROUGH MONDAY EVENING... A weak, decaying low pressure is bringing moisture up from the south, generating snow showers for Haines, Lutak, Mud Bay continuing through Monday evening. Highest uncertainty regarding this system is the depth of the moisture profile, which will dictate heavier rates. As of 2 pm, Amounts have ranged from 2 to 6 inches, with one report of 6 inches on the Chilkat Peninsula since 10 pm Sunday. Snow showers expected to continue early this evening before starting to diminish through the overnight hours. Highest accumulations will be around Haines and Mud Bay.
