URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...SNOW FOR THE KLONDIKE HIGHWAY THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT...

.A system advancing northward through the panhandle is bringing
snow for the northern highways. The best chance of impactful
snowfall will be along the upper elevations of the Klondike
Highway, which could see a storm snow total of 4 to 8 inches.
Lower snow totals are expected as you head towards sea level.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM AKST
MONDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Additional snow accumulations of 3 to 6
  inches.

* WHERE...Klondike Highway past milepost 6.

* WHEN...Until 3 AM AKST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest snow will fall through Sunday
  evening. A mix with rain is possible Sunday night into Monday
  morning. Lower snow totals are expected closer to sea level and
  for the city of Skagway itself.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling.

People are urged to prepare their property before the onset of
winter weather.
