...FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast North Carolina, including the
  following areas, Bertie, Camden, Chowan, Eastern Currituck, Gates,
  Hertford, Northampton, Pasquotank, Perquimans and Western
  Currituck.

* WHEN...Through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, urban areas, and other low-lying and flood-prone

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - A nearly stationary frontal boundary will provide the focus
    for numerous rounds of showers and storms across the watch
    area. Additional rainfall totals of 1 to 2 inches are
    expected, with locally higher amounts. This in addition to
    recent rainfall will lead to scattered instances of flash
