...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast North Carolina, including the
  following areas, Bertie, Camden, Chowan, Eastern Currituck, Gates,
  Hertford, Northampton, Pasquotank, Perquimans and Western
  Currituck.

* WHEN...Through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - A nearly stationary frontal boundary will provide the focus
    for numerous rounds of showers and storms across the watch
    area. Additional rainfall totals of around 1 inch, with
    locally higher amounts will be possible. This in addition to
    recent heavy rainfall over the weekend, will lead to isolated
    to scattered instances of flash flooding.
