The Southern City of Petersburg in south central Virginia... * Until 1100 AM EDT. * At 654 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that thunderstorms produced heavy rain across the warned area overnight. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen, and locally up to 8 inches. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is ongoing.
