...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Virginia...

  Blackwater River near Dendron affecting Surry County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.

* WHERE...Blackwater River near Dendron.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 36.3 feet, Jones Town Drive and Walls Bridge Road
  begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:45 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 36.6 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 35.3 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 3:45 AM EDT Thursday was 36.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river level crested overnight, and is expected
    to slowly fall today.
  - Flood stage is 36.3 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    36.4 feet on 10/10/2016.
