.DISCUSSION...
Hot and dry conditions prevail on Wednesday ahead of a cold front
with a southwest wind gusting to around 20 mph. Isolated to
scattered showers and thunderstorms, with the potential for strong
wind gusts, arrive late Wednesday afternoon into Wednesday night.
A chance of showers and thunderstorms lingers Thursday, primarily
across southeast Virginia and northeast North Carolina. Mainly
dry conditions are expected Friday, with isolated to scattered
showers and storms, and higher humidity over the weekend.
