This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast North Carolina,
eastern Virginia and southeast Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Summer heat and humidity build ahead of an approaching cold front.
Highs warm into the low to mid 90s each day, with heat index values
around 100 degrees Wednesday and in the 100 to 105 degree range on
Thursday. Heat Advisories may be needed for all or part of the
outlook area.

Additionally, Showers and thunderstorms are expected with the
frontal passage Thursday evening. Some storms could be strong to
severe, with damaging wind gusts and large hail as the main threats.

Scattered thunderstorms are possible across the outlook area after
4 pm this afternoon into this evening. Some of the storms may
produce damaging wind gusts and heavy downpours.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

A few strong to severe storms are possible again on Wednesday
afternoon and evening, with damaging winds as the main threat.
