...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN MECKLENBURG AND
CENTRAL LUNENBURG COUNTIES THROUGH 430 PM EDT...

At 347 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Kells Corner, or 7 miles north of Chase City, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Reduced visibility and minor flooding
         possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Kells Corner and Rehoboth around 355 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this storm include Gary, Plantersville,
Wilburn, Blevins Corner, Loves Mill, Oral Oaks, North View,
Finneywood, Wightman, and Fort Mitchell.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
