GATES AND CHOWAN COUNTIES THROUGH 945 PM EDT...

At 900 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Harrellsville to 8 miles east of
Williamston. Movement was east at 25 mph. Some broad rotation has
been noted with these storms.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Reduced visibility and minor flooding
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Ryland, Rockyhock, Tyner, and Hobbsville around 905 PM EDT.
  Valhalla around 910 PM EDT.
  Belvidere around 915 PM EDT.
  Hertford and Cape Colony around 925 PM EDT.
  Winfall around 930 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Goose Pond, Holiday
Island, Gliden, Drummond Point, Newsome Store, Arrowhead Beach,
Peach, Saint Johns, Parkville, and Mount Gould.
