...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN DORCHESTER COUNTY
THROUGH 1000 PM EDT...

At 923 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms 13 miles northwest of Deal Island, or 15 miles
southeast of Taylors Island, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph, heavy rain, and frequent
         lightning.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small trees and blow around
         unsecured objects. Wind impacting handling of high profile
         vehicles. Reduced visibility and minor flooding possible.
         Frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern
Dorchester County, including the following locations... Madison,
Taylors Island, Woolford, Andrews, Hudson, Crocheron, Honga, Church
Creek, Bucktown, and Wingate.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
