At 923 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms 13 miles northwest of Deal Island, or 15 miles southeast of Taylors Island, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph, heavy rain, and frequent lightning. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small trees and blow around unsecured objects. Wind impacting handling of high profile vehicles. Reduced visibility and minor flooding possible. Frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern Dorchester County, including the following locations...
