Kuskokwim Delta Coast and Nunivak Island-
1230 PM AKST Sun Nov 9 2025

...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM AKST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Water levels as high as 2 to 3 feet above the normal
  highest tide line.

* WHERE...Along the Kuskokwim Delta Coast and Nunivak Island.

* WHEN...Through Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...Coastal flooding of low lying areas and erosion are
possible. Flood waters may impede upon displaced structures.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Southeasterly winds reaching 40 mph along
the coast will continue through Monday morning. This will lead
to coastal flood impacts such as storm surge and flooding.
Structures not elevated off the ground may be more vulnerable to
flood waters. In Kwigillingok, when water levels rise above 2
ft, access to the airstrip and portions of the community could
be threatened (via roads and boardwalks). While winds and storm
surge will diminish this afternoon, lingering gusty southeast
winds and high tide tonight may limit water drainage and keep
water levels elevated into Monday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A coastal flood advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides
will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.
