.DISCUSSION...

High pressure over the area on Wednesday will lead to low rain
chances and areas of clear skies, but also areas of low ceilings
of 500 to 1500 ft and fog with visibility potentially dropping
below 2 statute miles, especially at night. Wind speeds on
Wednesday will be southerly at 15 to 20 kts. A front arrives
Wednesday night into Thursday, leading to a 60 to 80% chance of
rain with gusty southerly winds of 20 to 25 kts gusting to 30 to
35 kts Thursday afternoon into Friday morning. Ceilings could drop
below 1000 ft and visibility below 2 statute miles during steady
rainfall. High pressure builds in again on Saturday, leading to
lower rain chances and wind speeds, but areas of low ceilings (500
to 1500 ft) and fog (<2 statute mile visibility) prevail. A low
pressure system moves into the Bering Sunday through Tuesday,
leading to steady rainfall, gusty winds, and lower ceilings and
lower visibility. Uncertainty is high regarding the storm track,
so rainfall intensity and wind speeds and direction will vary
depending on where it sets up. For next Wednesday, more
uncertainty arises as more weather systems look to move into the
Bering with additional chances of rain and gusty winds.
