Low pressure in the southern Gulf of Alaska is producing gusty
north-northwesterly winds along the Southern Alaska Peninsula and
waters to the south. Winds will steadily increase through the
overnight hours, becoming gusty on Friday with sustained values of
25-35 knots and gusts 45-50 knots. Precipitation will be
primarily rain showers, with periods of rain/snow mix overnight
tonight before transitioning back to rain later on Friday morning.
