.DISCUSSION...

Scattered showers and continued wetting rain chances will linger
into the second half of Sunday as a Bering Sea low finally presses
east across Southwest Alaska. Light east to southeast winds in
the morning will transition to northerly later this afternoon as
low pressure shifts into the Gulf of Alaska. At the same time,
northerly flow will bring in drier conditions with precipitation
coming to an end this evening/tonight. There is a low chance (less
than 20%) for an isolated lightning strike or two this afternoon
but that threat will also steadily diminish through the evening
hours.
