Spot Forecast for SAR - Beaver Inlet...USCG
National Weather Service ANCHORAGE AK
810 AM AKDT Mon Oct 26 2026
Forecast is based on forecast start time of 0800 AKDT on October 26.
.DISCUSSION...
Short term conditions for Beaver Inlet are expected to be
generally dry and clear as precipitation and clouds within west to
southwesterly flow are currently being blocked by Unalaska
Island. Morning satellite imagery corroborates VFR conditions. A
front is expected to stall over Atka later this evening/tonight
with winds becoming more southerly on Tuesday. With the change in
wind directions and the closer proximity to the front, expect
shower chances to increase on Tuesday along with
deteriorating sky conditions and visibility. Expect MVFR ceilings
(2000 to 5000ft) after 12z with rain chances increasing through
the remainder of the morning hours. With precipitation ceilings
may dip to below 1000ft at times with visibility less than 2sm.
