Spot Forecast for USCG Response Nightmute...U.S. Coast Guard
National Weather Service ANCHORAGE AK
1245 PM AKDT Fri Oct 17 2025

Forecast is based on forecast start time of 1300 AKDT on October 17.
.DISCUSSION...
Weak ridging over Southwest Alaska today will keep some breaks in the clouds
over the Nightmute area today and into tonight. As winds shift more to the
northeast late tonight and into Saturday, it should allow early morning MVFR
ceilings to improve to VFR for most of the day. There is a chance for some
morning fog, but the winds turning northeast are making it less likely for the
fog to be a widespread problem.
