.DISCUSSION...

There are still no current observations for either Adak or Atka
making Shemya (400 miles away) the closest current observation.
Therefore, be aware that this forecast is being made without any
nearby observations.

A front shifts east from Adak this morning, reducing the
potential for light rain in the forecast today, with MVFR to VFR
ceilings remaining and VFR visibilities expected. The best chance
for VFR flying conditions into Adak still looks to be from Monday
through Tuesday morning. As a new front approaches the region,
conditions may fall back to MVFR or IFR late Tuesday into
Wednesday as a new front approaches. Sustained winds Wednesday
morning to increase out of the Southwest to near 25 knots.
