.DISCUSSION...

A low pressure system over Southwest Alaska will bring in a cold
airmass from the Bering Strait over the next 24 to 36 hours. Winds
will remain steady between 20 and 27 kts out of the north-
northwest through Thursday night. Seas will remain between 3 and 5
ft in the Strait. A low will then develop in the Gulf of Anadyr
(Russia) by Friday morning, which will weaken winds in the Strait
and lead to calmer seas starting Thursday night. Winds will then
increase to 15 to 20 kts out of the southwest on Friday.
