.DISCUSSION...

A weak frontal system moves east over Shemya Sunday morning
through Sunday afternoon. This will bring a small chance of light
rain showers, with ceilings ranging from 500 to 1000 ft and
visibilities as low as 4 to 6 miles during periods of rain and
mist through early Sunday afternoon. Conditions are expected to
improve by Sunday evening through Sunday night as ceilings are
expected to lift to 1500 to 2000 ft. High pressure building over
Shemya by Monday morning may allow for periods of clear to
scattered skies, though it is likely pockets of low stratus
ranging from 1500 to 2000 ft linger beneath the ridge.

Forecast for Adak: A low pressure system tracks north over Adak
and Atka through Sunday night. Ceilings ranging from 500 to 1000
ft along with visibilities of 2 to 4 miles is expected to persist
through Sunday night. Conditions are expected to improve by Monday
morning as the low departs the area, with ceilings and
visibilities improving to MVFR to VFR.
