Forecast is based on ignition time of 0700 AKDT on September 26.
.DISCUSSION...

A front is quickly moving ashore of the coast this morning with
renewed rain chances. Rain may diminish briefly this afternoon as
the front departs to the east. However, rain should resume later
this evening and persist through much of tomorrow as a Bering Sea
low finally moves into Southwest Alaska. As a result, wetting rain
chances will remain high with a low threat of an isolated wet
thunderstorm occurring this afternoon and again tomorrow
afternoon. Drier conditions develop on Monday as northerly flow
returns to the region. In the short term, easterly winds at 5 to
10 mph are forecast to persist through tomorrow. Over the second
half of Sunday winds should diminish while transitioning to a
northerly direction Sunday evening/Sunday night.
