.DISCUSSION...

Clearer skies and light winds to persist through early afternoon
today. By late afternoon into the evening, isolated showers move
across the region. Overall CWR today remains low due to the nature
of these hit-or-miss showers, but any showers that do move over
the fire could bring a period of moderate rain rates. Any isolated
thunderstorms that develop off the Alaska Range today should
remain east of Sleetmute.

The forecast trends wetter for Thursday, with increasing
likelihood for a cluster of storms to move across the region.
However, timing and the location of these storms is still
uncertain. Still, increasing cloud cover is forecast to lower max
temperature and min RH for Thursday.
