.DISCUSSION...

A surface low will bring light rain through tonight as it approaches
King Cove, with corresponding lower ceilings and visibility. While
ceiling and visibility observations are currently unavailable at King
Cove, the latest observations at Cold Bay and Sand Point show ceilings
as low as 500-1000 ft, and visibilities as low as 2 miles. The webcam
at King Cove suggests visibilities of 1 mile or less. Overall,
the lowest ceilings and visibilities are likely tonight into early
tomorrow morning as the front moves through.

From tomorrow afternoon through Thursday, rain tapers off as the
surface low exits eastward. Ceilings and visibility will likely improve,
though northwesterly winds will gust to about 20-25 mph. Lower clouds
and areas of fog will likely redevelop late Wednesday night into early
Thursday morning, but conditions should improve by Thursday afternoon.
