...HIGH WIND WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY MORNING THROUGH
SATURDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...South winds 45 to 65 mph with gusts up to 85 mph possible.

* WHERE...Western Aleutians.

* WHEN...From Friday morning through Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...High winds could move loose debris, damage property, and
  cause power outages. Travel could be difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Southeast winds increase Friday morning ahead
  of a strong front and peak Friday afternoon into early Friday
  evening. The front will pass the Western Aleutians and lift north
  into the western Bering Friday evening. A second round of strong
  winds will then move in from the south near the parent low
  pressure center Friday night and persist through early Saturday
  morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A high wind watch means there is potential for a hazardous high wind
event. Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates on this
situation. Fasten loose objects or shelter objects in a safe
location prior to the onset of winds.
