...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM AKDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...After a brief lull in the afternoon, another stronger push
  of 40 to 50 mph westerly winds with gusts to 60 mph late this
  evening into Saturday morning.

* WHERE...Unalaska and Nikolski.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM AKDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few
  power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A strong low pressure system in the southern
  Bering will bring a number of rounds of strong westerly winds
  through this evening. While currently in a brief lull for the
  winds, a reinvigoration of the winds out of the west will then
  occur by this evening. Gusts to 60 mph are expected overnight into
  Saturday morning, with winds coming down by Saturday afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown around
or damaged by the wind. Prepare for the possibility of widespread
power outages. Use caution if you must drive.

* WHAT...West winds 45 to 60 mph with gusts up to 75 mph expected.

* WHERE...Atka and Adak.

* WHEN...Until 9 PM AKDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...High winds may move loose debris, damage property, and
  cause power outages. Travel will be difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Very strong westerly winds, due to a deep low
  pressure system in the southern Bering Sea, will persist. Gusts of
  60 to 70 mph are expected tonight into Saturday morning, with winds
  coming down by late Saturday morning.
