...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM FRIDAY TO NOON AKST
SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chill temperatures as low as 45 below.

* WHERE...Lower Kuskokwim Valley, from Sleetmute to Lime Village.

* WHEN...From 4 AM Friday to noon AKST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin
  is exposed to these conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Frigid wind chills are forecast as air
  temperatures drop as low as 20 to 30 below and northerly winds
  gust as high as 10 to 20 mph. The coldest wind chills are expected
  on Friday morning, and from Friday night through Saturday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Keep pets sheltered or indoors as much as possible. Use caution and
wear appropriate clothing while traveling outside.
