...COASTAL EROSION OR FLOODING ARE POSSIBLE ALONG THE KUSKOKWIM
DELTA COAST THROUGH SATURDAY AFTERNOON...

Southerly to southeasterly winds peak from late this afternoon
through Saturday morning, with gusts as high as 45 mph. The surge
associated with this onshore flow could push water levels higher
than the normal highest tide, especially when the surge coincides
with high tide this afternoon and Saturday afternoon.

Coastal erosion and flooding of low-lying areas is possible, with
the likeliest locations being Kipnuk, Kwigillingok, and
Kongiganak. Coastal residents should stay alert, and take
appropriate action to prepare for potential water rises.
