.DISCUSSION...
Another dry day on tap today across eastern NY and western New
England with RH values lowering to 35 to 45 percent this afternoon.
RH values trend higher each day this week as southwesterly flow
increases moisture advection with afternoon min RH values on
Tuesday ranging 35 to 45 percent in western New England, the mid-
Hudson Valley and eastern Catskills with the rest of the area 40
to 60 percent. RH values recover to 70 to 100 percent tonight and
tomorrow night with patchy fog likely early Wednesday morning.
Winds remain light at less than 15 mph today through Wednesday.
While there is a low to medium chance in a few light showers
grazing the southern Adirondacks and Upper Hudson Valley on
Tuesday, there is increasing confidence in our first appreciable
and widespread rainfall in three weeks occurring Thursday into
Thursday night.
