.DISCUSSION...
Dry and milder weather is expected today. An increase in dewpoints
will keep RH values above 50 percent today. South to southwesterly
winds will be around 10 mph today with a few gusts to around 20 mph.
A cold front will bring some light rain showers from around the
Capital District and points north and west but will amount to
less than 0.10 inches. Drier and breezy weather is expected on
Friday with west to northwesterly gusts 20 to 30 mph with locally
35 mph gusts around the Capital District into the Berkshires. RH
values lower to 40 to 50 percent Friday afternoon. High pressure
then builds across the region this weekend through early next
week with continued dry weather but with light winds (less than
10 mph). The lowest RH values will be on Saturday at 30-40 percent.
The next best chance for more rain appears more delayed until mid
to late next week at the earliest.
