            A trained spotter in New Milford relayed the
            following report on Wednesday, September
            30th following a prolonged internet outage
            from damage sustained on Saturday, September
            26th. On Saturday, September 26th, at
            approximately 1040 AM, powerful wind gusts
            struck my area of far northern New Milford
            township in Litchfield County, CT. This
            report is delayed because a nearly 20 foot
            section of a nearby dead ash tree broke off
            and fell onto power lines between the
            streetside power pole on Old Mill Road and
            our house. The impact completely stripped
            the wires off the house and only mid day
            today, September 30th, were my services
            restored.
