...Fire Weather Concerns Exist Across Southern Vermont Today and
Tomorrow...

Fine fuels remain very dry across southern Vermont through
tomorrow according to the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and
Recreation. For today, relative humidity values will be low between
25 and 35 percent and southerly winds will be gusty between 10 and
20 mph. For tomorrow, there will be higher relative humidities
between 50 to 60 percent but stronger southerly winds gusting
between 20 to 30 mph. If any fires were to start, the weather and
fuel conditions could cause fires to quickly get spread and be
difficult to contain.

For more information about the current fire danger rating, any burn
restrictions, and wildfire prevention and education, please visit
the Vermont forestry or environmental protection website.
