...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO
7 PM EST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Moderate to heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations
  between 7 and 14 inches, mainly near and north of Route 28.

* WHERE...Northern Herkimer County.

* WHEN...From 10 AM this morning to 7 PM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Roads will likely become slick and hazardous from
  moderate to heavy snow falling today through Monday. Visibilities
  may drop below 1 mile due to moderate to heavy snowfall and
  blowing snow. Travel could be difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snowfall rates up to 0.5 - 0.75 inch per hour
  at times today through tonight. The combination of falling snow
  and gusty winds will lead to reduced visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations 4 to 7 inches with
  up to 6 to 9 inches in far northwestern Hamilton County where
  upslope snow will be heaviest. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Hamilton County.

* WHEN...From 10 AM this morning to 7 PM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions with reduced
  visibilities at times due to gusty winds and falling snow.

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations up to 3 to 6 inches
  with the highest amounts mainly at and above 2000 feet. Locally
  higher amounts 7 to 9 inches at and above 2500 feet along the
  spine of the southern Green Mountains. Winds gusting as high as 35
  mph.

* WHERE...Bennington and Western Windham Counties.

* WHEN...From 1 PM this afternoon to 7 PM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous travel
  can impact the Monday morning and evening commute. Snowfall rates
  may reach up to 0.5 to 0.75 inch per hour this afternoon into
  tonight before snow turns lighter into Monday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling, especially this afternoon
into tonight.
