.SHORT TERM...
(This evening through Tuesday night)
Issued at 1255 PM CST Mon Nov 3 2025

Cold front stalling out and expected to retreat in the coming
hours, as winds have come down a bit and are more in the 10-15
mph range with some gusts 20 to 25 mph. Winds are expected to
lighten and come around from the south over the next 6 to 9 hours.
That will lead to some mild overnight lows int he 40s to near 50
in some warm spots. Additionally, tomorrow will be very warm with
potentially record breaking highs, as we expect to see widespread
80s across the Panhandles, and Palo Duro Canyon, may even manage
to reach 90.

.LONG TERM...
(Wednesday through next Sunday)
Issued at 1255 PM CST Mon Nov 3 2025

The extended still continues to be quiet with no impactful weather
expected. We`ll have a weak cold front on Wednesday bring highs
down into the upper 60s across the north and the mid 70s to lower
80s in the south. Not much of a cold front when temperatures stay
above normal. Then on Thursday another push of warm air expected
to bring highs in the upper 70s to mid 80s again. Friday will have
a slightly stronger cold front, but highs still in the mid 60s to
mid 70s, and that keeps us above normal. Saturday and Sunday look
to be the most interesting, as we might have another good push of
cold air come in, and we may even manage to get a freeze in the
southeast. But still no precipitation in the forecast for the next
7 days.
