.DISCUSSION...
Drier and warmer weather is set to return today for the Panhandles
with winds staying on the lighter, but more variable, side for the
afternoon. Sunday will see winds pick up out of the southwest for
the afternoon with potential to see speeds around 15 to 25 mph with
gust upwards of 30 to 35 mph. Winds are expected to shift northerly
later that evening before weakening thanks to a back-door cold front
brushing by. However, neither elevated nor critical fire weather is
expected at this time thanks to residual moisture still present from
snowfall Wednesday.
