Fire weather conditions should remain near elevated today for the
far southwestern Texas Panhandle. RFTI values have come down today
due to lower observed winds in the area compared to yesterday`s
forecast. Since fire weather conditions are primarily wind driven
today, this should lessen the overall potential this afternoon.
