.DISCUSSION...
Dry and breezy conditions are expected across the Panhandles this
afternoon with RH values looking to dip to 15 to 20 percent. Winds
are expected to stay out of the west with speeds around 15 to 25 mph
and gust potential peaking above 40 mph. What may hold fire weather
conditions at bay are the still green fuels still present across the
area as well as how brief winds are expected to be. Still the
Southern Panhandles can still experience elevated fire weather
conditions as fuels in these areas have already seen the potential
to ignite.
