.DISCUSSION...
Elevated fire weather conditions are possible in the northwest
Panhandles this afternoon. Southwesterly to souther winds will be in
the 20 to 30 mph range with gusts up to 35 mph. This will result in
RFTI values of 2 to 4 during the periods of strongest winds. Minimum
RH values will also a little low, but still holding near the 20%
mark. However, present reports still show green vegatiation in these
areas, with ERC values around the 25th percentile range. This will
make fire start dificult with the expected RFTI values mostly wind
driven for this afternoon.
