.DISCUSSION...

Scattered showers and storms are tracking north from the Canyon
area and continue to stay just east and north of the burn site.
While the heaviest rain rates can be very localized, the storms
just to the north had a history of producing a wet Microburst
near Vigo Park which managed to produce a wind gusts of 77 mph
and over a half an inch in about 5 minutes. So these storms are
very tropical and can produce abundant rain rates, which could
cause localized flash flooding. Further south there are scattered
showers/storms but intensity is far below the main storms to the
north in the Canyon area. But on and off storms are expected to
continue and track from south to north through the evening and
into overnight. Tomorrow another round of showers and storms will
be possible in the afternoon with a low end threat for severe
storms capable of hail up to an inch. Winds in general will be out
of the southwest 10 to 15 mph, except when a storm is near.
