.DISCUSSION...Present observations this afternoon see that winds
are staying around 8 to 12 mph with direction taking more of a
terrain based influence from the river valley. However, these
winds should become more southerly over the course of the late
afternoon with direction turning more southwesterly and speeds
increasing to around 15 mph by late tonight. Current RH values are
holding at around 20 to 25 percent but are expected to drop as
low as 15 percent today. Otherwise, low amounts of instability are
still present, but confidence is low in the potential for plume
domination or the development of a pyrocumulus over the fire area.
