.DISCUSSION...Current observations from the nearby station have
seen winds hold a southerly to southwesterly direction for most
of the morning and afternoon, while speeds have stayed around 10
to 15 mph with gusts upwards of 25 mph. Present expectations have
the southerly direction becoming more dominate by the evening
hours with speeds looking to hold through sunset. As for RH
values, current observations are seeing the area hold at around 20
percent, but are expected to get as low as 15 percent before
sunset this evening. Otherwise, instability for today has been
trending on the lower end making it unlikely for any plume
domination or pyrocumulus development.
